Don't judge a book by its cover.

About the website:

stack of books

This website is a nod to the famous saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover”. The phrase means one shouldn't prejudge the worth or value of something by its outward appearance alone. The website tries to provide a slice of what a book is about by providing a quote and a picture that attempts to encapsulate the message behind the writing; all without identifying the title. This idea is meant to help people find a book in which they enjoy for its content. On the home page, there is a slideshow of quotes and images. All you have to do is click on the image and it will identify the book and author on a separate page. There are descriptions, images, and videos for each book. If you don’t see one that you enjoy, please head over to the survey page and fill out a few questions and enter some feedback for the site. A book fact page is available for those few, but dedicated book worms.
